Purr Vixen has been sitting with me showing love and devotion only there are birds outside and she has started her bird calls. Sadly for her, they are never lured in to the house, only up to the windows...

If Big Feet had half her skill he would not be allowed to walkies in the garden.

Thanks for all the lj's, texts and email wishes! Some one even gave me a sign! This was across the street from our motel this morning.

Seriously, today had the most wonderful highlight of being able to pet these guys!

They are rescues and live at a private lodge I stumbled across this morning. The owner is a KTM guy and was loving my bike and new jacket. (so did one of his smaller cats who marked it when I was in with the big kitties) Yes these are 'Big' and 'Bob' and they are bobcats. The guy made us organic fair trade coffee, helped us with better roads for our trip, gave us t-shirts for his bike team (he built the world's fastest street legal Harley) and got us a great place to stay tonight! Happily I have been invited to stay at the lodge if I come back. It was really cool to be in the same room and be scoped out by the kitties!

I am going to Montana. Que Frank Zappa.

Be home in time for Robert Plant. Might take ALC photos with me and work on putting up the slide show while gone.

Still trying to decide which bike to ride. Outfits will depend on choice.

Home Again for a bit anyway...

Back from ALC. It went by so quickly this year! ALC is always a wonderful way to be of service in an end to a greater means.

Highlights:
Seeing old friends that I only get to see once a year. Including the Wizard (Jose), he hadn't been wearing his hat the last couple of years and I was afraid he wasn't around any more but he ended up being our first customer this year because of a mechanical issue. He said hello to us every time we saw him...

Greg promising me he

The Cookie Lady right after skinny dipping. Elmyra even made it down to the river this year for the first time.

JW telling me he got the Madonna tickets for me during day 1 since I was going to be on the road by 6am... (We actually left the house at 5 but what ever...)

Seeing what outfits Ginger adorned the Chicken during the week. Especially the sequined number for Red Dress Day. I was really glad the Chicken made it with the Chicken Lady having had a stroke this year. Ken was really missed by the veterans of the ride.

Dancing in the streets in Casmailla

Adopting a solo rider on Day 5 when out for dinner and helping her get her laundry back to camp, along with a few other riders.

Team Dinner in Ventura.

Helping the Chicken Lady with her eggs after the Candlelight Vigil. Ken showed up on his hot pink walker adorned with his bicycle basket.

Now off to heal from the cold I picked up this weekend and maybe get to the Cybernet Expo.

Next trip is a long Motorcycle ride next week to Montana.

Bio Bags are wonderful!

We found these bio bags for doggie waste at Pet Express on Market and wanted to try them for cat litter. Unfortunately they are to small. In talking to the store clerk we found out the company does a whole line of trash bags, compost container bags, cling wrap and other stuff. I went online and further found out that they sell the stuff at Cole Hardware.

So now we have bio kitty waste, compost container and kitchen trash bags that are made of cornstarch and will degrade in the land fill long before I die.

Voltages

I switched from a Motorola to Blackberry and was happy re the mini-usb charging on both so I would not have to buy new chargers. When I mentioned this the guy at the store told me I needed new chargers because the voltage was different.

So here I am looking at the charger that came with the phone and my Motorola Charger and am seeing a difference but do not know if it is relevant. here are the stats.

output:
Moto= 5.0v=550mA
Blackberry= 5Vd.c. 0.7A

it is the miliamps vs the amps that have me stumped. I know enough to read it but not enough to know what it really means compatibility wise. Any electrical geniuses out there know if he is on crack and I can use the Motorola charger?

If I can't use the old chargers then I will freecycle them.

I was asked to help with this so I will be here!

But I will start with
- I loved it.
- I found my peeps with the Gear Party
- 20 years later, sex in the bathroom is still just as fun
- I was forcibly, non-consensually, and tastefully accessorised by an attack homo who came up at me from behind.
- It was really nice to be at an event where I was there to be social and shop
- I will let Elmyra go through the food blog and park & museums stuff
- What you wear really does matter and you never know when or why until life unfolds for you. (I will go more into it later when I am not about to go catch another plane.)
- There are no accidents
- and why does LJ's spell checker think blog is an incorrectly spelled word?

You get to vote!

To vote in support of the Supreme Court's decision on LGBT marriage:

1. call 1-916-445-2841
2. press 1, 5, 1, 1

After you've done this send it on to all supporters you know.
It couldn't be easier to vote... please take 15 seconds right now to do it!

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is receiving large numbers of phone calls from the supporters of "Limits on Marriage" (The constitutional amendment baning same sex marriage in California) about his comment to a group of Log Cabin Republicans that he wouldn't support a constitutional amendment.
We don't want him to go back on his word.
He must hear from us too.
The aide I spoke to yesterday was so glad I called as most of his calls were from the "other side." Now it is automated and you will not talk to anyone, just push the number for pro Supreme Court decision.
Call, email or write him and thank him for his declining to support this initiative. (They don't ask what state you are from, by the way.)

To email go to http://gov.ca.gov/interact, hit email tab and select Supreme Court decision on Same Sex Marriage. On the next screen you must click PRO. It's a little confusing since we're talking about the initiative for which we are con. Then just a couple of words of thanks are all you need. No long letter which no one will read anyway.

It started at 4 for an airport run that never happened cause when I shut the hatch after loading the car I heard tinkle tinkle and wondered what I broke. Oops. Oh, wait it wasn't me, the car was broken into. Elmyra called a cab and I took care of all the mess.

New window in place by a nice man that came to the house and now I am heading out to meet a friend for lunch.

DOB tonight and I hope everyone plays nice cause I will be really tired and not in the mood.

Tomorrow I pack and Friday I go to Chicago for fun and swimming in the pool! yeah!
